Thunder Exploration, Inc. is a privately held, internally funded oil and gas production and investment company, organized in 1981, based in Houston, Texas. Its founder and principal, Walter S. Light, Jr., is a petroleum geologist with over 48 years of broad industry experience and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. The Company participates in drilling wells on a non-op basis as well as investing in Jr. Oil & Gas Companies through pre-IPO funding and share purchases. Thunder currently conducts business with over 50 operators and continues to seek investment opportunities that build long-term business relationships.
